Portions of Flatiron Marketplace to be torn down, redeveloped

BROOMFIELD — A struggling portion of Flatiron Marketplace in Broomfield will be torn down and redeveloped.

The Broomfield Enterprise reports that Provident Realty Advisor Inc. proposes redevelopment of the eastern portion of the site, located at the southwest quadrant of U.S. Highway 36 and East Flatiron Crossing Drive. The retail center is owned by Flatiron Marketplace 2013 LP.

Portions of the development will remain as they are, according to the Enterprise, but 12,000 square feet of new commercial space would be added, along with up to 1,200 apartments.
