New hospital to open in Colorado Springs next month
COLORADO SPRINGS – Grandview Hospital, owned and operated by a partnership between UCHealth and Adeptus Health Inc., is expected to open in October in Colorado Springs.
The Gazette reports that the 22-bed hospital will also have 17 free-standing emergency rooms, a four-bed intensive-care unit, four operating rooms, 10 exam rooms in the emergency department, full-service laboratory, kitchen, cafeteria for employees and patient family members, pharmacy and a radiology department with a CT scanner, ultrasound and digital and fluoro X-ray machines.
