Gunbarrel Center apartment community opens

BOULDER — Gunbarrel Center, a relatively new apartment community at 5340 Gunbarrel Center Court, has opened a mid-rise, urban-style apartment building that includes a clubhouse that features some high-tech amenities.

The latest three-story building is constructed around a parking garage with residences that are accessed via elevators. Amenities in the clubhouse available to residents at no extra cost include a sports simulator, a demonstration kitchen and an app-powered espresso machine.

“We’re proud to bring urban living options, often found in larger metropolitan areas, to Gunbarrel,” said Matt Perrin, executive vice president of asset management at Scottsdale, Ariz.-based The Wolff Co., developers of Gunbarrel Center.

The sports simulator offers virtual-reality environments for everything from football, basketball and golf on some of the world’s best courses, to zombie dodgeball and carnival games for children.

The clubhouse also features a sleek lounge space with a fireplace, flat-screen televisions and billiard tables.

“Now that all of our amenities are complete, we are looking forward to unveiling Main Street, which will be a destination in Gunbarrel with its shopping and dining options, such as Proto’s Pizzeria Napoletana,” Perrin said. “There will be a grand-opening celebration to mark this occasion later this summer.”

Gunbarrel Center is a pet-friendly community at the corner of Lookout Road and Gunpark Drive. It offers a sizeable park with grills for residents, mountain views and trail access to large tracts of open space.

The 251-unit apartment community has nine building types and 32 floor plans. Each apartment features large, energy-efficient, dual-pane windows, gourmet kitchens with quartz countertops and tile backsplashes and oversized walk-in closets.

Rental rates start at $1390 for studios and go to $2,855 on three-bedroom apartments.
