HomeAdvisor moving HQ to Denver’s RiNo district
A Golden tech firm is planning to move its headquarters and 300 workers to a to-be-built office building in Denver’s trendy River North district.
The Denver Post reports that HomeAdvisor — which has an online marketplace that connects consumers with professionals like plumbers and electricians — will lease 58,000 square feet in a new building at 3601 Walnut St., with the move slated for late 2017 or early 2018. Tech, finance, marketing and management functions will move from Golden to the new headquarters, though the company will keep roughly 700 sales and operations workers in Golden. The 2,000-person company also has a significant presence in Colorado Springs.
