Fort Collins mental-health provider confirms layoffs
Nonprofit mental-health provider SummitStone Health Partners is going through a round of layoffs and slashing its budget by roughly 10 percent.
The Coloradoan reports that SummitStone informed staff that it will cut “the equivalent of four staff members” and $2.64 million from its $22.2 million annual budget. Officials for the provider noted declining Medicaid reimbursements and other shifts in the health-care landscape as reasons for the cuts.
