Bohemian Foundation awards $500,500 to 33 area nonprofits

FORT COLLINS — The Bohemian Foundation has awarded $500,500 to 33 local nonprofit groups through its Pharos Fund, the foundation announced Thursday.

The grants are the second round of Pharos Fund grants in 2015, bringing the total to $1,008,980 for the year. Since its inception in 2001, Bohemian Foundation Community Programs has awarded more than $15 million in Pharos Fund grants to a variety of nonprofits serving the Fort Collins area.

Recipients include the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County, which was awarded $15,000 for its RAPP (Raising Awareness of Personal Power) program. Project Smile received $10,000 to support children’s oral-health…
