Macy Development eyes hotel, medical campus in Longmont

Macy Development is getting set to fire up a pair of new projects in southwest Longmont soon, including a health and wellness campus and a 100-bed hotel.

The Times-Call reports that representatives for the firm will go before the city’s planning and zoning commission this week for approval of the division of a 20-acre parcel of land west of the Diagonal Highway into four parcels for the health and wellness campus, which would include medical offices, a skilled nursing facility, orthopedic center and an athletic facility.

The hotel, meanwhile, would be located at 1089 S. Hover St.
