Electric vehicle buyers can get rebates

DENVER – Buyers of ZAP electric vehicles registered in the Denver metro area are eligible for rebates ranging between $50 and $500.

Several makes and models of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) are eligible. The rebates are being funded by the Denver/Boulder Clean Cities Coalition and the American Lung Association. The program is available to individual owners, Clean Cities members and fleets that purchases the vehicles between Oct. 1, 1999 and Sept. 30, 2001.
