Geek News: Software only will get better when users get to have a say

I’ve recently been taking part in a discussion about programmers and software development.

The discussion — on an Internet mailing list devoted to the computer-book business — began when a member complained about an interview he’d heard on the radio, during which a writer said that programmers hate end users, and, furthermore, that programmers don’t get

Christopher Wood is editor and publisher of BizWest, a regional business journal covering Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Weld counties. Wood co-founded the Northern Colorado Business Report in 1995 and served as publisher of the Boulder County Business Report until the two publications were merged to form BizWest in 2014.
