VAIREX plans expansion in Boulder
BOULDER – VAIREX international limited, formerly known as VAIREX corporation, recently closed an $8 million series A round of financing and plans to expand.
While the financial details are unknown, company spokeswoman Susan Westfall said the “bulk” of the money will support VAIREX’ Boulder research and development and pilot production facility. The company’s headquarters are in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Because of the U.K.-based financing, through 2009 the company plans to double its staff from 10 employees to 20, she said.
