Downtown Greeley unveils new campaign
A new logo, in reds, yellows and purples, emphasizes the arts, in part by incorporating images of dancers and the classic theater masks that signify comedy and tragedy.
“Although the Downtown Development Authority has a logo of its own, there really hasn’t been a logo or slogan that uniquely identifies and brands the downtown district itself as a place to go, shop, dine and enjoy entertainment,” Alison Hamling, director of Downtown Experience, said in a news release.

The DDA first solicited the help of a committee to select a slogan.
“It started with “Let Yourself Go” and then became “Let’s Go” when some people said the former conjured images of lying around on the couch in your bathrobe with curlers in your hair,” Hamling said.
Artist Pamela McCarville was brought on to help. McCarville has been creating graphic design and illustrations for over 25 years from her Evans studio. Her work has been featured in numerous Northern Colorado publications and she has illustrated several books.
