CSU names finalist for system chancellor

FORT COLLINS – Michael V. Martin has been named a finalist for the position of Chancellor of the Colorado State University system by the CSU Board of Governors.

Martin serves as the chancellor of Louisiana State University and was recommended to the board by an 11-member committee that spent the last eight months conducting a nationwide search for a replacement for Joe Blake, who retired from the chancellor position in December.

If selected by the board, Martin would serve as chancellor for all three universities within the CSU system: CSU in Fort Collins, CSU-Pueblo and CSU-Global Campus, an online university.
