Feedback

Feedback comes in two flavors. There is the feedback we want. It’s yummy. We crave it. And then there is the feedback we need. It can be a lot harder to swallow.

Find a way to get the feedback you need. Seek out constructive feedback from trusted colleagues, a leader you admire, or even a manager who rubs you the wrong way. How do people perceive you? What insights can they offer to help you improve your performance? Don’t turn away like a baby from an incoming spoon of pureed peas. Let the insights and advice nourish you. The feedback you need is what will help you grow and develop into the very best version of you. Open wide and take it in.
