Anheuser Busch sponsors Saturday cleanup at Riverbed Ponds

ST. LOUIS – The Anheuser-Busch brewery in Fort Collins has partnered
with the city of Fort Collins Natural Areas Program on a large-scale
planting and cleanup effort in the Riverbend Ponds Natural Area.

The cleanup and planting will take place Saturday, June 5, as part of
the United Nations’ World Environment Day, designed to create awareness
of the environment and encourage participation in sustainability
programs.

A-B and its Budweiser brand have donated $150,000 to River Network to
support river and watershed conservation projects in each of the
company’s 12 U.S. brewery cities. Last year, Anheuser-Busch InBev
employees participated in more than 250 projects in 24 countries,
including more than 59 in the United States.

The Fort Collins brewery also will host an electronic recycling event
for employees on Friday, June 4.
