Anheuser-Busch, Teamsters’ contract talks progress
The brewer and the labor union said they would resume talks the week of Dec. 16 on “national non-economic issues.” The negotiations, which began last month, cover workers at the company’s 12 U.S. breweries and come as a five-year contract is set to expire early next year.
“We look forward to continued discussions and progress when we reconvene,” Pat Knipper, vice president of labor relations for the brewery, and David Laughton, directory of the teamster’s Brewery and Soft Drink Workers Conference, said in a statement.
