Colorado’s newest wind farm dedicated at New Raymer
NEW RAYMER – BP Wind Energy and Sempra Generation dedicated Colorado’s
newest wind farm in a ceremony held about 20 miles north of New Raymer
in eastern Weld County on Wednesday.
Cedar Creek 2 Wind Farm is located on a 30,000-acre site and includes 63
GE wind turbines and 60 Nordex turbines with a total wind-generating
capacity of more than 250 MW.
Company officials were joined by John Salazar, Colorado’s commissioner of agriculture, at the dedication ceremony.
