Linden chosen to design alternative logo
FORT COLLINS — The city of Fort Collins has selected a local marketing firm to submit another city logo option.
Linden Common Sense Marketing will formulate an alternative logo following community input from two meetings — one of which was held Wednesday. The second meeting will take place on April 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cafe Columbine Banquet Room, Drake Road and Shields Street. Between May 16 and 30, citizens will be able to view the logo options, including the one previously unveiled as part of the branding campaign. City Manager Darrin Atteberry will make a recommendation on June 16 to city council, which is set to approve the final option on July 1.
Jim O’Neill, director of the city’s purchasing and risk management department, said that the city received 13 proposals, which it narrowed down to three candidates: Linden, Lightsource Creative Communication and NADAG Creative. After interviews held earlier this week, Linden was selected.
