Alliance Construction project receives LEED Gold

NEDERLAND – Nederland Community Center, a project designed and built by Alliance Construction Solutions in partnership with Architecture West LLC, has received LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The 27,000-square-foot building, at 750 Highway 72 North, includes a gym, classrooms and other useable space for the mountain community. A dedication ceremony was held Dec. 4.

“Alliance Construction Solution’s LEED Gold certification demonstrates tremendous green-building leadership,´ said Rick Fedrizzi, president, CEO and founding chair of the U.S. Green Building Council. “The urgency of USGBC’s mission has challenged the industry, and Alliance Construction Solutions serves as a prime example of how much we can accomplish.”
