Linda W. Norton, 1949-2007

FORT COLLINS – Real estate veteran Linda Norton passed away on Saturday morning. She was 57.

Her passing ended a three-year battle with cancer. A private religious ceremony was held this weekend, in accordance with Jewish traditions. Her brother, Lew Wymisner, said a community-wide service and celebration of her life will likely be held later in October and that he is working on the plans for that now. He hopes to have more information available later this week.

Norton was well known in the Northern Colorado community for her support of affordable housing initiatives, having chaired Funding Partners for Housing Solutions. She received the Good Neighbor Award from the National Association of Realtors in 2002. In 2005, the Coldwell Banker Residential broker received the Distinguished Seniors Real Estate Specialist Award, recognizing her extraordinary performance in serving the senior community, from the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council.
