Proposed ballot issues could curb Weld data centers
A newly formed citizens group has launched a two-pronged attack on data centers in Weld County: collecting signatures for a referendum to put a recently approved GlobalAI facility to a vote and an initiative that would require approval by county voters before any future data center development or any existing data center expansion could be allowed.
