Colorado jobless rate flat in July
DENVER — Colorado’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained flat at 3.9% from June to July, according to the most-recent data from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
In the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado, Larimer County led the way in July with an unadjusted jobless rate of 3.8%, while Boulder and Broomfield counties each recorded rates of 4% and Weld County 4.5%.
“Over the year, the average workweek for all Colorado employees on private nonfarm payrolls was unchanged at 33.4 hours, while average hourly earnings grew from $38.91 to $39.63, $2.01 more than the national average hourly earnings of $37.62,” according to the CDLE report.
