Cherbundi expands into 600 Walmart locations

BOULDER — Boulder-based functional-wellness brand Cheribundi, a subsidiary of NextFoods Inc., has expanded into 600 U.S. Walmart stores.

Cherbundi Recovery’s 8-ounce and concentrate pouch versions can be found in the nutrition and pharmacy sections at the participating Walmart locations. Both products deliver the equivalent of more than 60 Montmorency tart cherries per serving to support post-exercise recovery.

Cheribundi is used by more than 250 professional teams and more than 1,800 collegiate teams, according to the company.

“For years, Cheribundi has earned a place in the recovery routines of athletes competing at the highest levels of sport,” Marc Seguin, CEO of NextFoods, said in a written statement. “Our Walmart launch gives us the opportunity to make that same simple, proven approach to recovery more accessible, whether you’re preparing for game day, getting back into a fall training routine or just trying to feel ready to do it all again tomorrow.”

NextFoods was founded in 2006 and also operates the GoodBelly brand of probiotic-infused foods.
