Commuting Solutions to manage Redtail Ridge transportation plan

LOUISVILLE — Commuting Solutions, an organization that helps improve and expand transportation options in the northwest Denver metropolitan area, has been selected by the Redtail Ridge Metropolitan District to serve as the mega-development’s transportation demand management coordinator.

Redtail master developer Sterling Bay LLC broke ground in May on Redtail, a 2.5-million-square-foot biotechnology- and health-care-centric business park on the empty, roughly 400-acre Louisville property adjacent to U.S. Highway 36, which was previously home to a massive Storage Technology Corp. campus.

“The Redtail Ridge project presents an extraordinary opportunity to enhance multimodal connectivity locally and within the region,” Commuting Solutions executive director Audrey DeBarros said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to working alongside the Redtail Ridge Metro District, Sterling Bay, and the City of Louisville to optimize access to multimodal travel options in and around this new development. Our collective efforts will minimize single-occupancy vehicle traffic and promote more sustainable travel across the region.”
