Firestone aims to score pro soccer at Central Park

As recently as last year, the United Soccer League fielded two professional soccer clubs in Northern Colorado. While the professional league bailed on the Future Legends Sports Complex and its affiliated teams as the Windsor facility’s viability crumbled, USL is plotting a return to the region. 

A Maryland native, Lucas has worked at news agencies from Wyoming to South Carolina before putting roots down in Colorado.
