FORT COLLINS — Crisp & Green, a fast-casual restaurant chain based in Wayzata, Minnesota, will open its second Fort Collins location and fourth in Colorado in late January.

“Downtown Fort Collins is the ideal spot for our next Crisp & Green opening, and we’re excited to continue to bring our chef-crafted menu to areas outside of Denver so we can reach even more health-conscious Coloradans,” said Steele Smiley, the company’s founder and CEO, in a news release.

The chain’s menu features acai bowls, salads, smoothies and grain bowls such as a seasonal “squashgoals” with kale, arugula, roasted chicken, maple roasted butternut squash, apples, quinoa, shredded white cheddar, candied pecans and apple cider pumpkin seed dressing. Another grain bowl, the “Vegan Seoul Bowl,” contains brown rice, spinach, roasted mushrooms, citrus-glazed tofu, napa cabbage, spicy bibimbap sauce and more.

The chain also partners with local fitness and wellness studios to offer complimentary classes, typically held at the restaurant.

In a news release, the company said it plans to open in more than 16 locations across the state. Launched in 2016, the brand currently has restaurants in Minnesota, Colorado, Florida, Texas, South Dakota, Nebraska, North Dakota and New York, and will open locations in Tennessee, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Utah, Illinois, Arkansas and Iowa in the future.
