Broomfield town square still on tap

BROOMFIELD — The city council heard from a developer on the vision for a town square in the works for 25 years since the city’s master plan in 1995.

The Broomfield Enterprise reported on Broomfield Town Square Alliance LLC and its concept for a “central gathering area both “iconic and unique.”

The concept currently includes some 300 housing units, 20,000 to 40,000 square feet of office space, and 25,000 to 50,000 square feet of first-floor retail. Restaurants, outdoor areas, public are, and a lake part of planning, which includes a redesign of several current uses.
