Steamboat Emergency Center will close, become UCHealth Urgent Care
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Steamboat Emergency Care, a standalone emergency room that has operated in Steamboat Springs for almost four years, will close April 30.
Steamboat Pilot & Today reports that UCHealth will take over the facility, transforming it into an urgent-care center. The facility is scheduled to reopen May 25.
UCHealth also operates the Yampa Valley Medical Center.
