CU System hit by cyberattack
BOULDER — The University of Colorado System said hackers breached its network last month through a vendor service, which could compromise a large number of confidential records.
The Boulder Daily Camera reports that IT staff for the system anticipate more than 50,000 records ranging from student and employee records to health and research data could have been captured, mostly from the Boulder campus and partially from the Denver campus.
