Brickell Biotech hires new chief medical officer

BOULDER  — Brickell Biotech Inc. (Nasdaq: BII) has hired a new chief medical officer.

In filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Boulder skin care drugmaker announced it had hired Sanjeev Ahuja, currently chief medical officer at Carmel, Indiana-based rare disease drugmaker Celtaxsys Inc., to lead the company’s product development. The contract shows he will make $387,500 annually and up to 35 percent of that base salary per year in performance bonuses.
