Gateway Canyons resort listed for sale

GATEWAY — The Gateway Canyons Ranches and Resort, located south of Grand Junction in the unincorporated town of Gateway, is for sale for $279 million.

The Grand Junction Sentinel reported that LIV Sotheby has it listed on its website. The resort, with golf course and automobile museum, is owned by John Hendricks, the founder of the Discovery Channel.

The car museum includes classic and one-of-a-kind vehicles such as the 1954 Oldsmobile F-88 concept car and the 1967 GT500 personally owned by Caroll Shelby.
