Comcast considers connectivity its primary business line

COLORADO SPRINGS — Times and business plans change. Comcast, for example, no longer considers cable TV to be its primary product line. High-speed internet is.

In an interview with the Gazette, Comcast executive David Cohen told the newspaper that it’s focus today is connectivity instead of video content.

Comcast, based in Philadelphia, has theme parks, TV networks and, of course, cable networks in addition to its growing high-speed internet systems. It has a large call center in Colorado Springs.
