Colorado Premium building in Denver fetches $24.5M

DENVER — A Denver-based real estate investment company has acquired a 200,000-square-foot food-processing facility that includes Greeley-based Colorado Premium as a tenant.

The Denver Business Journal reports that Forum Real Estate Group paid $24.5 million to acquire 5140 Race Court, located near the National Western Center. Colorado Premium, a meat-processing company, expanded to Denver in 2013 and occupies much of the property.

Forum purchased the building from Mark Middleton of Middleton Properties, who paid $5.6 million for the property in 2005.

Colorado Premium acquired an adjacent property in 2016 for $12.5 million, according to the Business Journal.
