Bayfield company seeks to market its water treatment agent

BAYFIELD – A small Bayfield company is seeking investors in order to bring its wastewater chemical agent to market.

The Durango Herald reported that GC Solutions Inc. needs $1.3 million by May in order to commercialize the product. The product has its origins with the Russian space program, which used it to extract water from algae. GC Solutions uses it to clean up wastewater treatment systems, including those used by the oil and gas industry or by the craft brewing industry.
