EPA recognizes Boulder Clean for use of safer ingredients

BOULDER — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently recognized Boulder Clean, a 1908 Brands company, as a 2018 EPA Safer Choice Partner of the Year.

This is the third time in as many years the company has won this recognition, according to a Boulder Clean news release.

“Safer Choice helps consumers, businesses and purchasers find products that perform and are safer for human health and the environment,” according to the EPA’s website.

“Boulder Clean formulates safer and effective products that are environmentally-friendly and highly efficacious.  We are constantly striving to increase the bio-renewable content and eco-friendliness of our products, while not compromising performance,” Boulder Clean CEO Steve Savage said in a prepared statement. “In 2019, 90 percent of Boulder Clean products will become majority plant-based.”
