TDA_Boulder hired as Copper Mountain advertising firm

BOULDER — Summit County ski resort Copper Mountain has hired TDA_Boulder to be its advertising agency.

TDA_Boulder will have a budget of $1.5 million for TV, print, outdoor, experiential and digital/ social advertising. Work is expected to start prior to opening day, Nov. 16.

Copper Mountain’s previous advertising firm, Seattle-based Wexley School for Girls, disbanded and did not compete for the contract. Copper Mountain is owned by Powdr Corp. Four other participants competed, but their identities are not being disclosed.

TDA_Boulder knows the mountain lifestyle and how to get, and keep, the attention of those who live it.”

Copper Mountain is located 75 miles west of Denver in Frisco. It is a subsidiary of Powdr Corp., a privately held company based in Park City, Utah.

TDA_Boulder is an independent advertising agency based in Boulder. Other clients include Ascent Protein, Daiya Foods, FirstBank, Justin’s Nut Butter and Patagonia.
