VF Corp. will move Steamboat operations to Denver
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Denver’s gain is loss to Steamboat Springs.
Smartwool, one of the apparel companies under the umbrella of VF Corp., the multi-national company that announced Monday that it will move its headquarters to Denver, will close Steamboat Springs operations and move to Denver as well.
Steamboat Today reported late Monday that employees were still processing the news that they heard this week. Top Smartwool executives learned the news over the weekend, the newspaper reported.
