JBS suspends hog shipments from Kentucky supplier

GREELEY — JBS USA has determined it will not take hogs from Tosh Farms, a Kentucky supplier, after seeing a video that showed abuse of animals.

The Greeley Tribune reported that the video was shot surreptitiously by an animal rights organization. The video showed farm workers striking hogs, confining sows in crates and killing piglets by hitting them against the ground.
