JOHNSTOWN — A collaboration of local farmers and food preparers will conduct its summer event, the Heart of Summer Dinner, at Motherlove Organic Farm in Johnstown Sunday, July 15.
Fortified Collaborations conducts multiple dinners around a theme that includes local producers and preparers of food. This is the second in its Fortified Farm Dinners series. It will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event will spotlight local food sources and will benefit Trees, Water & People, a non-profit with a mission to “improve people’s lives by helping communities protect, conserve, and manage the natural resources upon which their long-term well-being depends.”
The five-course dinner will be prepared by Chef Dryden Goss of Locality Kitchen and Bar. Live music by Wolf Van Elfmand will open the evening. Old Town Distilling, Verboten Brewing and Pringles Fine Wine & Spirits are also involved in the event.
Free shuttles provided by Biodiesel for Bands to the dinner location at Motherlove Organic Farm, are available from Old Town and mid-town Fort Collins and from Verboten Brewing in downtown Loveland. Ticket information is available here.
