Permit issued for 30-story Denver building

DENVER — Foundation work and first-level construction can begin on a new, 30-story downtown tower.

BusinessDen reported that the first construction permit is now in hand for the tower at Block 162. The permit authorizes $14.3 million of work, enough to get underway, according to the report. Block 162 is at 15th Street and Welton in downtown Denver.

The building will contain both below- and above-ground parking, retail space, a fitness center, meeting space, office space and roof features.
