Defense contractor sold to California company
COLORADO SPRINGS — A defense contractor based in Colorado Springs has been sold to a California company.
According to a report in the Colorado Springs Gazette, Polaris Alpha will become part of Parsons as of May 31. The transaction may enable Polaris to grow its cybersecurity and battlefield management businesses. Polaris employs about 800 workers in Colorado, including 350 in Colorado Springs.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
