Medical-device company opens Westminster headquarters
WESTMINSTER — Zimmer Biomet Spine has opened its new 101,000-square-foot headquarters in Westminster.
The Denver Business Journal reports that the medical-device company opened its headquarters in the city’s Westmoor office park, consolidating operations from Broomfield, Austin and Minneapolis.
Zimmer Biomet Spine was formed last year, when Indiana-based Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. acquired LDR Holdings Inc. of Austin in a $1 billion acquisition. The company employs 240 people in Westminster and ranks as one of the world’s largest makers of spine-surgery tools and implants.
