Massive media campus proposed for Parker could lure 4,000 jobs

A proposed media campus in Parker could create 4,000 jobs in film and television production.

The Denver Post reports that Denver media company Redbarre is backing the privately funded venture. The proposed Redbarre Digital Media & Technology Campus would be located in 1.9 million square feet in the Compark Village subdivision near E-470 and Chambers Road.

The project could break ground in 2018, with operations beginning in 2020. Redbarre CEO Don Levy told the Post that the project could approach $1 billion in cost.
