LONGMONT — Boulder might be in the middle of its startup week, but another Front Range city is already preparing for its big event.
Longmont Startup Week will take place from Monday, July 24, to Friday, July 28.
Over the week, about 70 events will take place, including keynote-speaker presentations and panel discussions from more than 100 speakers and panelists. The week will cover design, development, marketing, finance, legal and entrepreneurial advice to assist the local startup community.
The event is sponsored by the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, Circle Graphics, Wyatt’s Wet Goods, Terrapin Care Station, Galvanize, UCHealth, Sunflower Bank, BBP, CoBiz Financial, Avocet Communications, City of Longmont, Sticker Giant, Jupiter Visual, Lifelicious, Intention Products, BrewHop Trolley, Brewer Law LLC, Print Experts and the Longmont Times-Call.
Keynote speakers include Walter Scott, the founder, chief technology officer and execuitive vice president of DigitalGlobe, and Morgan Smith, a senior at University of Denver who will discuss the rise of millennials in the workplace.
