EWI uses engineering and technology to develop, test and implement advanced manufacturing methods for a variety of industries. The nonprofit organization is sustained from contract fees paid by companies tapping into its services.
EWI, which also has centers in Columbus, Ohio, and Buffalo, N.Y., has been operating in a temporary space at RMCIT, 814 15th St. SW, since June while buildout and tenant finish of the new 14,000-square-foot space has occurred.
