Louisville-based Books are Fun rebrands as Collective Goods
LOUISVILLE — Books are Fun – a Louisville-based company that conducts about 9,500 flash sales every week across the country to help schools and businesses raise money for charitable causes — has rebranded as Collective Goods.
Chief executive Ben Kaplan said the change not only helps better highlight the fact that the company sells much more than books at its sales but also the philanthropic efforts of the company.
“We really wanted to tell the story about why we exist, why we’re in business and why as a customer you should care,” Kaplan said Friday.
