Fairgrounds Marketplace annexation gets initial OK from Longmont council
The Longmont City Council on Tuesday night gave an initial nod to the Fairgrounds Marketplace annexation where developers are hoping to build a mix of retail and apartments.
The Times-Call reports that the council approved the annexation unanimously on first reading, with a second reading and public hearing still to come. The land in question is 30 acres on the west side of Hover Street, just north of Home Depot.
