Baker Hughes lays off 17 more in Brighton
BRIGHTON – Oil-field services firm Baker Hughes Inc. (NYSE: BHI) has eliminated more jobs at its facility in Brighton.
The Houston-based company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the state of Colorado dated Sept. 30 stating that the company would be laying off 17 people in Brighton, where the company has a range of operations that include cementing, pressure pumping and completions.
The move came just a month after the company had notified the state in August that it was laying off 114 people in Brighton. It is unclear how many employees remain…
