Louisville-based Fresca Foods buys stake in California organic snack maker

LOUISVILLE — Fresca Foods Inc. in Louisville has made an undisclosed financial investment in California-based Wonderfully Raw Gourmet Delights, a manufacturer of organic, gluten-free and vegan snacks.

Privately held Fresca Foods manufactures a variety of natural foods under its own brands, and also provides supply-chain support and manufacturing services to about 10 partner companies.

Liz Myslik, chief executive of Fresca Brands Innovation Group, a subsidiary of Fresca Foods Inc., said Fresca, in addition to the financial investment, will provide support to improve distribution channels, marketing and sales for the Wastonville-based company.
