Fort Collins city council unanimous in opposition to NISP
Hours after the Larimer County county commissioners voiced support for the Northern Integrated Supply Project, Fort Collins city council took the opposite stance.
The Coloradoan reports that council was unanimous in supporting a resolution to oppose NISP in its currently proposed form.
If approved, NISP would include construction of Glade and Galeton reservoirs, which combined could store more than 215,000 acre-feet of water, 40,000 of which would be allocated to municipal water supplies annually.
