InvitedHome tops 36 local companies on Inc. 5000 list

Boulder-based InvitedHome is ranked 28th on Inc. magazine’s annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the country released this week, topping a group of 36 businesses from the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado that were included.

Inc. ranked companies based on three-year revenue growth percentages from 2011 to 2014.

The local region landed six more companies on Inc.’s list than last year. InvitedHome – which manages and operates high-end vacation homes in places like Maui, Telluride and Lake Tahoe – was the highest-ranked company from Colorado and one of just two from the state to make the top 100, with Boulder-based Skratch Labs being the other at No. 82.

Founded in 2010, InvitedHome had $11.4 million in 2014 revenue, up 8,001 percent from 2011 according to Inc.’s rankings. The company grew from 73 to 76 employees in that time.

Boulder-based MinuteKey, Colorado’s highest-ranked company last year at No. 11, fell this year to No. 302, with $23.3 million in revenue and 1,520 percent growth from 2011 to 2014.
